Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Senior Consultant, Global Pricing and Access position’s responsibilities include delivering client consultancy projects and helping to manage project-related analytics, data, and tools available through our industry platforms, Pricentric and PriceRight, while enriching them with tailored insight and custom research, the Senior Consultant will ensure that client projects are delivered to schedule, while maintaining the highest level of quality and value expectations.

As a Senior Consultant, you will support research and lead analysis focused around: pricing, market access launch strategy, competitor research, value-based pricing analyses, HTAs, and more! The applicant should be experienced in leading and facilitating client analyses, identifying client needs & problems and implementing robust data driven solutions, and managing their team’s workload to complete client deliverables. In addition to this, the Senior Consultant must be able to manage small teams and steer them towards timely, high-quality deliverables, and present project results to clients in an executive and efficient way. 
The opportunity for growth is limitless! Effective Senior Consultants will also contribute to business development through the development of proposals and related activities as we work towards our quarterly revenue goals. Senior Consultants must also be able to train junior colleagues and support the overall professional growth of the team.

The role is remote-based, (full-time position), ideally located in Poland, Ireland, Switzerland, or the UK, but it could also be located in Spain, Portugal, Germany, or Italy. The job holder must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or in the UK.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Senior Consultants are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of the project team. These results are achieved by:

  • Supports the design, development and delivery of client analyses & deliverables
  • Supports the development of client reports and presentations and delivery of all or significant portions of findings to client. Provide follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Leveraging business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions. You will have a solution-orientated approach and look to add client value wherever possible.
  • Supporting the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements
  • Developing broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through on-the-job experience and training
  • High attention to quality and detail with strong written and spoken English.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, able to present information in compelling and creative ways (story telling through data, insights, effective slides).
  • Ability to manage independently Workstreams of a complex project.
  • Manage directly and independently all the operative aspect of the project directly with the client.
  • Manage and train junior staff members on the project.
  • Deal with up to 3 to 4 projects simultaneously

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.


  • B.S./B.A in relevant field of study required.
  • 5-7 years of pharmaceutical, medical/health industry-related experience required
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and own personal projects.
  • History of managing small teams of 2-3 persons.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness and accountability.
  • Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility in front of service clients at companies.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and the issues clients face in specific segments of responsibility
  • Working knowledge of the market research development process.
  • Quantitative and qualitative market research skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to utilize large amounts of data and other types of information from multiple sources to complete a final analysis of a business question/situations and make recommendations.
  • Must have ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-20% of time.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPH).
  • Background in International Pricing and Market Access, analytics and modelling/forecasting a plus to effectively lead Global Market Access and Pricing projects for key clients.
  • 4+ years of management consulting experience.
