Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice delivers advanced planning, forecasting, and profitability solutions, empowering clients to achieve operational and financial excellence through technology-driven transformation.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant in the EPM practice, you will play a key role in delivering tailored EPM solutions for clients across Financial Services and Private Markets. You will design, implement, and optimize planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics solutions to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement EPM platforms to optimize financial
planning, revenue forecasting, profitability analysis, and reporting
processes. - Build trusted relationships, addressing client-specific challenges with
tailored solutions that align with business objectives. - Model complex financial structures such as AUM-based fees, profitability
analytics, fund-level performance, and asset lifecycle planning. - Guide and mentor junior team members to develop their technical,
analytical, and consulting skills. - Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, delivering actionable
recommendations to enhance financial and operational performance. - Ensure deliverables such as project plans, technical designs, and polished
presentations meet Alpha's quality standards.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in management consulting with expertise in EPM, financial modeling, and process transformation.
- Demonstrated experience in financial services or private markets.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced forecasting and financial modeling).
- Experience with EPM tools (e.g., Anaplan, Pigment, Oracle, SAP BPC) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. In the US, a reasonable estimate of the salary range is $70,000 to $127,000 USD subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus. In Canada, a reasonable estimate of the salary range is $90,000 to $160,000 CAD subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
