About the Job:

As a Senior Consultant at Capco you will be playing a key role in the delivery of projects and development of new business opportunities, working on client site to deliver change initiatives for leading clients across Financial Services, particularly the Capital Markets space.

This team is focused on supporting data remediation efforts through hands-on, technical contributions. You will be working directly within the risk management and data processing lifecycle, applying technical knowledge to assess, remediate, and close out data concerns as part of the Data Concern Remediation (DCRM) process. This is a technical, individual contributor role, where you will be expected to not only guide the process but actively engage in the work.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Hands-On Risk Remediation: Take direct responsibility for assessing and remediating data concerns in the DCRM lifecycle, working closely with the team to resolve issues and manage risks.
  • Technical Execution: Perform in-depth technical analysis of data risks and collaborate with technical teams to apply solutions to mitigate or resolve issues.
  • Data Process Management: Support the tracking and management of data remediation tasks, ensuring that all issues are documented and progress is tracked effectively.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in agile pods, contributing to sprint execution by delivering technical assessments, updates, and solutions in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed technical assessments to identify the root causes of data concerns, collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

What you’ll bring with You:

    • 4+ years' experience in capital markets/investment banking space 
    • 4+ years of experience in management consulting
    • Understanding of upstream / downstream applications and data
    • Understanding of data management and analytics - data remediation, data governance and data analysis.
    • Ability to work on multiple workstreams from inception through to implementation
    • Ability to apply experiences with existing software or processes to define and collect metrics and develop better processes to be used in the future
    • Required knowledge of regulations and securities transactions to help conduct requirement analysis, facilitate rule interpretations, document business requirements, document functional requirements and drive issue remediation
    • Exposure to multiple project management methodologies including, but not limited to Agile and Waterfall
    • Experience in successfully delivering business and technology projects with an understanding of product development lifecycle
    • Development productivity tools (JIRA, TFS, or other)
    • Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders
    • Bachelor's degree
