Senior Consolidation Specialist
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Consolidation Specialist to join our highly motivated and inspired global team in Zentiva.
What Would Be Your Main Responsibilities
- Inventory Data Management:
Oversee the inventory data collection from Zentiva subsidiaries and conduct thorough analysis of financial data submitted to HQ, ensuring strict adherence to Group accounting policies. Prepare periodic reports and ad-hoc analysis to support management and other departments, with a focus on inventory and cost of sales (COGS) operations.
- Inventory Policy Maintenance:
Update and maintain inventory policies, collaborating with both local financial teams and HQ to assess the impact of any changes in Group accounting policies and systems. Monitor and review calculation of inventory provisions across the Group to ensure accuracy and compliance with Group guidelines.
- Product Flow Monitoring and Intercompany margin elimination
Oversee and document transfer of products between Group companies to ensure proper inventory tracking and reporting. Define and implement principles and logic for elimination of intercompany margins, ensuring accurate consolidated standard COGS and inventory value.
- Financial Statements and Group Consolidation Reporting:
Contribute to the maintenance of the consolidation reporting package for legal entities, performing regular and ad-hoc analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidated financial statements. For annual reporting, contribute to the accurate reporting of IFRS disclosures.
- Guidance and Support:
Provide clear guidance and support to country and Group users, addressing any queries or challenges related to inventory and financial reporting. Cooperation with other HQ departments and provision of inventory related data to optimize group inventory levels and achieve KPI targets.
- Audit Support:
Facilitate communication with auditors and provide necessary documentation to support audit processes.
Systems and processes
- Consolidation Tool Enhancement & Maintenance:
Recommend, implement, and oversee enhancements to the group consolidation tool (“Board”) and related technologies. Ensure the tool’s functionality is optimized for efficient data collection, reporting, and alignment with best practices.
- Process Design & Optimization:
Design and implement streamlined processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection from group subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Accounting & Reporting Guidelines:
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and reporting procedures in response to changes in reporting standards or evolving business requirements.
- Collaboration with Financial Teams:
Work closely with local and HQ financial teams to assess and evaluate the impact of changes in Group accounting policies and systems, ensuring smooth adaptation across the organization.
- Power BI Reports Development:
Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of inventory-related Power BI reports to enhance data-driven decision-making.
We Need You To Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Group consolidation principles and intragroup profit elimination is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in SAP ERP, consolidation tools and financial accounting (IFRS). Power BI/Tableau experience is a plus.
- Advanced MS Excel user.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build networks and work cross-functionally.
