Purpose
The Senior Configurator is a key member of the Delivery Practice. As an Oracle Senior Configurator, you will play work along Lead configurators in designing and implementing comprehensive Oracle Cloud ERP Financial and Retail solutions for Floor&Decor. Leveraging your deep understanding of process flow and ERP Technology Stack which includes but not limited to OIC, VBCS, APEX, BIP & OTBI, you will provide guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and during post go live support. Your primary focus will be to partner with business and Lead configurators to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or Business Management (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
- Provide functional and technical leadership to project teams and guide them in the implementation of Oracle SAAS (ERP/Retail).
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and ERP Financial Quarterly updates and upcoming roadmap to ensure solutions align with best practices and Oracle roadmap.
- Lead the implementation of Oracle SAAS (ERP/Retail) and have working experience of Core Financial modules or Merchandising Cloud Foundation Services.
- Proficient in extending core Oracle SAAS (ERP/Retail) applications to meet specific business requirements by leveraging industry standard technology.
- Collaborate with development teams to build and deploy custom extensions or integrations.
- Conduct performance assessments and optimize Oracle SAAS(ERP/Retail) solutions for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to Oracle SAAS (ERP/Retail) implementations.
- Work closely with Lead Configurator and business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and provide solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Stay informed about Oracle SAAS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure updates and new features, incorporating them into solution designs.
- Good to have in-depth knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandsing or Oracle Cloud ERP Financials core modules.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud technologies, architecture, and integration capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Oracle Cloud SAAS implementation or/and Business Process certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and backlog refinement meetings
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time as they are in various stages of development and deployment
- Proven business, infrastructure and support problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibits leadership skills as part of a Scrum Team
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and results driven
POSITION PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with sprint management tools such as Jira
- Ability to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks
- Consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offer suggestions to improve user experience
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Lead Configurator in definition and coordination of architecture related activities for the ERP transformation to Oracle SAAS (ERP /Retail).
- Possesses deep knowledge in Oracle Cloud ERP or similar solutions and has multi-year experience in full life cycle implementation of Oracle SAAS (ERP/Retail).
- Has in-depth knowledge of the business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues and competitive marketplace in ERP domain to develop and deliver value added business solutions that have a measurable impact on results.
- Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models. Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology strategies.
- Identify solution gaps, requirement gaps, key design decisions and communicating and documenting their associated options, considerations and providing recommendations based on prior experience and leading practice
- Partners with application, infrastructure, integration, data & analytics teams to bridge the gap between various teams and projects to make sure that solutions are consistent with the target architecture and are cost-effective and rationalized to meet the business goals.
- Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
- Responsible for communicating and driving adherence to established architecture standards, design principles and guidelines, promoting leverage of existing standard platforms, solutions and technology, maximizing existing technology investments.
- Responsible for the capture of architectural goals, including ensuring that the architect patterns developed meet those architect goals looking through both strategic and tactical lenses.
- Communicates "big picture" to Business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve alignment with target state architecture and roadmap by domain or by value-stream.
- Possesses a strong knowledge of different platforms, software systems and/or technologies to suggest the best solutions for the organization to use.
- Effective Partner with Business Stakeholders to align on IT Product vision and needs
- May provide more technical specialization for one or more IT Products to supplement development teams and better ensure quality assurance and implementations match expectations
- Ability to communicate clearly and present complex information to users by translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders
- Leads Executive/Senior Management level meetings for review and/or prioritization of Product/Team Roadmap
- Drives the planning, coordination and details of projects for the Scrum Team
- Proficient in Oracle Service Request and Enhancement Request process, ability to partner with Oracle and influence future product direction by participating in various Product User groups.
- Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), should be able to lead and co-ordinate Design, various test cycles and development to ensure deliver of quality and on time product delivery.
