Purpose

The Senior Configurator is a key member of the Delivery Practice. As an Oracle Senior Configurator, you will be Subject Matter Expert and work along with System Implementor in designing and implementing comprehensive Oracle Cloud Platform Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) ,Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS ) & Financial Close Cloud Service (FCCS)solutions for Floor&Decor. Leveraging your deep understanding of process flow of EPBCS Technology Stack which includes but not limited to Smart View, PL/SQL, BIP, FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management), Data Management & OTBI and its integration to ARCS & FCCS, you will provide guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and post go live support. Your primary focus will be to partner with business FP&A to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or Business Management (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)

· Provide functional and technical leadership to project teams and guide them in the implementation of Oracle EPBCS, FCCS & ARCS.

· Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and EPBCS, ARCS & FCCS updates and upcoming roadmap to ensure solutions align with best practices and Oracle roadmap.

· Hands on experience in configuring Planning Modules for Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in Oracle Cloud and Capital Expense Planning.

· Collaborate with SI & business to automate and streamline the process of account reconciliation by integrating ARCS with EPBCS and FCCS.

· Hands on experience in leveraging FCCS to automate and streamline the financial close and consolidation process and compliance with accounting standards like IFRS or GAAP

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement business process improvements for budget planning and forecasting cycles.

· Partner with external sources to integrate required data into EPBCS using FDMEE and Data Management tools, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

· Provide training on best practices for Oracle EPBCS, FCCS & ARCS usage, reporting, and system maintenance.

· Design and develop custom reports using Smart View for Excel and BI Publisher to support decision-making and enhance visibility of financial performance.

· Define conversion methodology from Legacy planning to Oracle

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and backlog refinement meetings

· Ability to work on multiple projects at one time as they are in various stages of development and deployment

· Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and results driven


POSITION PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency with sprint management tools such as Jira

· Ability to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks

· Consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offer suggestions to improve user experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Possesses deep knowledge in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and FCCS (Financial Close Cloud Service) or similar solutions.

· Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models. Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology strategies.

· Responsible for communicating and driving adherence to established architecture standards, design principles and guidelines, promoting leverage of existing standard platforms, solutions and technology, maximizing existing technology investments.

· Responsible for the capture of architectural goals, including ensuring that the architect patterns developed meet those architect goals looking through both strategic and tactical lenses.

· Communicates "big picture" to Business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve alignment with target state architecture and roadmap by domain or by value-stream.

· Possesses a strong knowledge of different platforms, software systems and/or technologies to suggest the best solutions for the organization to use.

· Effective Partner with Business Stakeholders to align on IT Product vision and needs

· May provide more technical specialization for one or more IT Products to supplement development teams and better ensure quality assurance and implementations match expectations

· Ability to communicate clearly and present complex information to users by translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders

· Leads Executive/Senior Management level meetings for review and/or prioritization of Product/Team Roadmap

· Drives the planning, coordination and details of projects for the Scrum Team

· Proficient in Oracle Service Request and Enhancement Request process, ability to partner with Oracle and influence future product direction by participating in various Product User groups.

· Proficient in RBAC security model.

· Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), should be able to lead and co-ordinate Design, various test cycles and development to ensure deliver of quality and on time product delivery.
