IT Systems Engineer position with focus on cyberspace-IT project management and coordination.
Duties:
-Oversee applied research and experimentation projects.
-Charged with engineering projects that develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to aid DOD cyberspace operations.
-Coordinate with parties to ensure the mission effect is achieved and utilize technical expertise throughout to ensure a sound and secure delivery.
-Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
-Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
-Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
-Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
-Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.
-Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
-Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems.
-Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.
-Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.
-Work complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team.
-Design and deliver solutions.

Qualifications:
-Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph
-Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Engineer
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline
-Minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)
-Exposure to Cloud/AWS
-A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution
-Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
-Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
Compensation Spotlight:
