Who you are:
As a Senior Compliance Advisor – Marketing and Digital, you are a key collaborator. You’ll partner with our Marketing and Digital lines of business by providing advice and strategic compliance guidance on regulatory requirements, including those related to consumer protection, FDIC advertising, fair lending, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, regulatory requirements for digital platforms, and other applicable laws and regulations spanning marketing campaign development and execution. In this role, you’ll also ensure all marketing materials, campaigns, activities, disclosures, digital content, and customer communications adhere to banking regulatory requirements and internal company policies by reviewing and approving content, providing guidance to marketing and digital teams, and staying updated on applicable regulatory compliance changes. You’ll work closely with Frost’s legal, information technology, and business teams to ensure that our digital products and services comply with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and secure experience for our customers. What you’ll do:

Provide subject matter expertise on applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, ensuring business activities align with compliance requirements.

Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on business operations, and support implementation of necessary changes to ensure proactive and ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Educate line of business teams on compliance requirements, best practices, and emerging regulatory risks.

Identify potential compliance issues, escalate concerns as necessary, and collaborate with stakeholders on remediation efforts.

Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Collaborate with business units to identify and assess existing and emerging compliance risks

Partner with business units, risk management, legal, and other internal teams to integrate compliance considerations into decision-making and operational processes.

Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, assist in the periodic creation of leadership reports as needed, and support regulatory examinations or audits.

Maintain a current knowledge of laws, regulations, emerging risks, and how they impact Frost products, processes, systems, and internal controls

Support compliance training initiatives by developing and delivering guidance to employees on regulatory obligations and best practices.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, in a related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance

Demonstrated ability to interpret and assess risks and their potential impact to lines of business

Demonstrated ability to prioritize risks and create the appropriate action plan to mitigate risks effectively

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

Basic understanding of how the Compliance department functions to support the Bank

Proven ability to collaborate and establish partnerships with non-technical stakeholders
-
Proven ability to interpret laws and regulations to disseminate information in non-technical terms
Additional Preferred Skills:
-
CRCM, CFIRS, or equivalent professional certification

Understanding of digital customer experiences, including familiarity with technologies such as online platforms and mobile applications
