Position Objective:
The Senior Communication and Organizational Change Management Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing communications and technical organization change management strategies for the Enterprise Technology function. The ideal candidate has proven experience implementing successful campaigns effectively engaging stakeholders and organization leadership in technical organizations with a matrixed, global structure.
CSC's Enterprise Technology Enterprise Management Office is looking for a Senior Communication and Organizational Change Management Specialist. This position requires a strategic thinker who can not only develop communication plans and strategies but can also implement the tactics while leading stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth transitions during technology change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies and plans that align with departmental goals, initiatives, and key messages which breakdown complex concepts into consumable messages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create messaging that effectively communicates changes, updates, and projects to stakeholders at all levels
- Drive organizational change management efforts, understanding impact, developing change management plans, and supporting teams through transitions by identifying stakeholders tools and resource requirements in partnership with training team
- Create stakeholder awareness of available tools, resources, and training modules to support understanding and adoption of new technologies and processes
- Create effective methods for tracking communications, establishing metrics, analyzing results, and reporting initiative effectiveness while adjusting strategies and tactics, as needed
- Assists in the development and implementation of other departmental employee and client communications initiatives including special events and programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in communications and organizational change management, preferably in a global, matrixed, technological environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies and change management programs
- Strong understanding of communications and change management principles and methodologies
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences
- Strong project management, interpersonal relationship management, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with senior management and influence outcomes at all levels
- Highly organized, with a strong ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment
- Proactive, goal-oriented, highly creative, and flexible individuals comfortable with technology and digital tools
- Role is hands-on with a need to think strategically and execute
