  • Lead supplier selection activities for new components, supply-base diversification, etc. based on requirements for technology, cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Influence supplier’s roadmaps and investments to support Agility Robotics’ business goals.
  • Characterize and mitigate risk in our supply base (e.g., understand a supplier’s strengths and weaknesses, identify and plan for business continuity risks, etc.)
  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts with suppliers.
  • Manage overall and day-to-day relationship with strategic suppliers (e.g., price negotiation, delivery commitment slips, drops in performance, etc.).
  • Monitor, analyze, and report supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery metrics and work directly with suppliers on addressing shortfalls or making improvements.
  • Develop and utilize supply chain and financial modeling tools for analyzing pricing and supply options.
  • Manage the new-product-introduction (NPI) and change-management processes with suppliers.
  • Support rapid prototyping requirements by developing key partnerships and agreements to provide this capability.
  • Actively communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners on schedules, status, etc.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements in our supplies cost or quality.

About You

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering or technical field; advanced university degree preferred (e.g., MBA)
