Job Description
As a Senior Commercial Manager at Streem Energy, you will oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Your primary focus will be on international sales, managing a specific geographic region in Europe (outside France and Benelux), determined by your background and language skills.
In your daily work, you will:

Gain a deep understanding of Streem’s clients, their needs, and challenges, progressively building your expertise to craft tailored, customer-centric sales strategies.

Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve targets, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships with key clients.

Build, maintain, and grow a robust sales pipeline by leveraging your network, attending industry events, sourcing referrals, and cultivating relationships across the ecosystem. This includes thorough a thorough market and account mapping and the ability to independently generate leads in an international business environment.

Drive revenue by acquiring, managing, developing, and expanding relationships with new and existing clients with a strong focus on account growth and retention.

Handle contract negotiations and oversee renewals to ensure ongoing value for clients while maximizing revenue opportunities. Focus on fostering long-term partnerships through excellent client relationship management and proactive account support.

Serve as a bridge between clients and the engineering team, especially in markets where the product is still evolving, requiring a strong business development mindset.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a sales manager in the Energy Market with a track record in SaaS B2B sales, including building pipeline from scratch, generating leads, and closing significant contracts, or equivalent business development experience.

Alternatively, candidates with a background in renewable energy and client-facing roles (e.g., consultants, originators) who are eager to transition to a sales role in the energy data sector will also be considered.

Proven expertise in negotiation, deal closing, and building strong client relationships.

Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other language (e.g., Spanish, German, Dutch, etc.) for both client interactions and internal collaboration.

A high-energy, agile mindset, with the drive to secure contracts and expand the business, especially with newly launched products.
