Position Overview: We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with profound knowledge in cloud computing platforms and a broad understanding of the entire cloud infrastructure lifecycle, including architecture design, deployment, monitoring, scaling, and security management. As an essential member of our R&D team, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient cloud-based solutions. Your role will involve optimizing cloud resources, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure to support our evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deploy cloud solutions, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Efficiently manage cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking components, to optimize performance and cost.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect cloud infrastructure from vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuously monitor cloud environments to ensure smooth operation, identify and resolve issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and oversee disaster recovery strategies and backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability in case of emergencies.
  • Work closely with development teams to provide infrastructure support for software deployment, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, practices, and tools to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the cloud infrastructure and generate reports on performance metrics, incidents, and improvements.


Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of professional experience working as a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Proven experience in deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as bash, python or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC), including writing and maintaining Terraform scripts, modules and working with module's versioning.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS/GCP network architectures, security practices, and tools to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and code review practices.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and experience with tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) on a kubernetes native environment. Experience with ArgoCD a big plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment, often coordinating with other teams in R&D.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, AWS/GCP certifications and/or equivalent work experience.
