Senior Cloud Authentication Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate EntraID with M&A companies through B2B sync and connections to various IAM systems
- Review and POC potential replacements for MIM (Microsoft Identity Manager) and ADAM (Active Directory Application Mode) software with a GraphDB tool or Radiant Logic Modernizing current metadirectories (i.e. MIM/ADAM)
- Analyze the current Directory Services environment to identify both technical and operational opportunities and develop continuous improvement action plans
- Manage enterprise identity directories including Microsoft EntraID
- Develop automated solutions using scripts and cloud-based server-less computing platforms Develop detailed architecture, standards, design, and implementation documentation
- Translate business needs into workable technology solutions that meet the needs of internal customers
- Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance monitoring and maintenance to ensure high availability
- Participate in or lead troubleshooting and incident resolution of complex high severity incidents
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Identity Manager, Active Directory Application Mode, or SQL Server
- At least 3 years experience with GraphDB
- At least 3 years experience with EntraID
- At least 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019 or 2022
- At least 3 years of experience developing scripts in PowerShell, VBScript, JavaScript or Python to develop automated solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years experience with Microsoft Identity Manager and Active Directory Application Mode
- 4+ years experience with Identity Platforms such as PingOne, Radiant Logic, or EntraID
- 4+ years experience with GraphDB or a similar technology
- 4+ years experience in CI/CD pipeline deployments
- 4+ years experience with Terraform or Cloudformation Templates proficiency

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical
Plano, TX: $144,200 - $164,600 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical
Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
