About the team
Our team operates within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ensuring efficient and collaborative development processes. The development and QA teams are based offshore, while key stakeholders, including the Scrum Master, Product Manager, and Architect, are located onshore in the UK. We utilize the Out Systems tool for development, and our QA team performs both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest quality of our products. Additionally, we follow a monthly release cycle to consistently deliver updates and improvements.
Product Overview
The Decision Management Platform is a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance decision-making processes within the banking sector. Developed using OutSystems, this platform leverages advanced analytics and automation to provide real-time insights and streamline operations. Our goal is to deliver a robust and scalable product that meets the evolving needs of our clients.
Merchant Underwriting (MU) is an advanced underwriting application designed to streamline the merchant onboarding process. It enables users to make informed decisions on approving or rejecting merchant applications based on provided details. The system delivers a rules-based automated underwriting solution.
What you will own
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements.
- User Story Creation: Write detailed user stories in the Rally tool, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Development Support: Work closely with the development team to refine and size user stories, providing necessary clarifications and guidance.
- Query Resolution: Address any concerns or questions raised by the QA or development teams promptly and effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with onshore and offshore teams to ensure alignment and project success.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in the validation of requirements and user stories to ensure they meet business needs and project goals.
- Backlog Ownership: Take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, prioritized, and up to date.
- Backlog Refinement: Lead backlog refinement sessions, working with the development team to break down and prioritize user stories and tasks.

You will own it in our Vibrant Office Locations as Bangalore/Pune/Indore hub.

What you bring:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking domain.
Tools: Proficiency in using Rally or similar Agile project management tools.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge: Understanding of decision management platforms and banking processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
