Third Party Activation and Development aligns under MetLife's Workforce Engagement and Benefits Connectivity organization. Supporting US group Business, we maintain relationships with HR Tech Firms and other contracted entities to monitor and meet KPIs, integrate products and API technology on benefits platforms, operationalize processes, and facilitate escalations to resolution.
The Opportunity
The Senior Business Process Consultant II (Entity Manager) is responsible for maintaining relationships with contracted entities, including HR Tech platforms, to drive plans for integration, implementation, and escalation resolution through project and relationship management across US Business. This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of US group business as we strive to meet/exceed the 1B revenue goal for 2025.
Success in this role requires strong project leadership skills, advanced knowledge of business functions, and experience in the group insurance industry. The Entity Manager is responsible for the management of entity administration, including defining solutions around operational breaks, as well as overseeing those solutions to implementation. You'll collaborate closely with all business areas of MetLife in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for the ongoing relationship management of high revenue generating Third Party Entities including but not limited to process administration reviews against established KPIs, escalation management including root cause analysis with corrective actions to solve for operational breaks, as well as identifying preventive actions and continuous improvement opportunities to drive business efficiencies.
  • Support facilitation of API projects while also managing entity specific process development; evaluate and recommend improvements to processes to increase effectiveness. Ensure transparency into status.
  • Review/monitor entity specific KPI's, identify risks and support tracking of key success metrics. Escalate and resolve issues, where needed and appropriate.
  • Identify entity actions throughout stewardship process, drive to resolution. Partner across organization to create/manage go to market strategies.
  • Evaluate opportunities: Gather appropriate data and perform analysis to recommend go-forward strategy, facilitate external meetings to gather appropriate information, oversee internal and external event set-up and logistics.
  • Lead the integrations by identifying appropriate resources needed, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects. Hold team members accountable for delivering as committed and communicate status to all partners and leaders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • 7-10 years of related work experience; broad working knowledge of supported business functions, systems, processes, and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience managing strategic projects
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously, effectively handles multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
  • Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities
  • Project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, advanced degree preferred


The salary range for applicants for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus.
