DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.
DB Global Technology develops cutting-edge software applications for the Deutsche Bank’s global operations and represents a platform for highly skilled software engineers. The team members specialize in Software Application Development, IT Architecture, Quality Assurance and Testing, Functional/Business Analysis and Project Management.
The Private Bank Divisional Data Office is driving forward Data Management for Private Bank Division in accordance with Deutsche Bank Group Data Policy. In close collaboration between business and IT we assure compliance with Group Data Policy by assigning data roles, managing the documentation of data flows, aligning data requirements between consumers and producers of data, reporting data quality, and coordinating Private Banks data delivery through the group data hub.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Functional Analyst to join our team, with strong business analysis background in banking area. The ideal candidate will have high communication and collaborative skills, the drive and the ability to understand and analyse the business and technical processes within the bank, who identifies and understands the business requirements and working closely with our stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of business and IT solution. It also needs to have a good knowledge on data mapping process and can perform in a very complex IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Chair functional workshops to gather and analyze business processes, proposing process improvements and identifying process inefficiencies

Perform business and data analysis, understanding and designing the data flows, as well as ensuring data integrity and standardization data feeds across functions

Perform data gap analysis, impact analysis, as well as data clarifications for data demands raised by stakeholders

Analyze data quality issues, creating proper specifications for fixing data mapping inconsistencies
-
Business requirements elicitation following tight collaboration with business stakeholders, to identify the need

Translate business requirements into detailed documentation including functional specification, data flows, user guides, ensuring all changes are well documented and there is an alignment on methodology and artefacts

Identify system enhancements and support the implementation teams

Work closely with product owner, IT and architecture team to ensure solution align with the business need

Be a liaison between business and technical team to bridge any gaps

Provide support for upstream and downstream users on new processes or system changes

Assist in system configuration, user acceptance testing and deployment of new functionalities
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-
3+ years banking experience as Business Analyst

Very good knowledge of banking products and key banking processes

Familiarity with data analysis, SQL is a plus

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with multiple teams across the world

Details oriented and strong documentation skills

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Fluent in English (write/read/speak)

Excellent knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) and working with JIRA
-
Good understanding of data warehousing, data flows, data feeds

Ability to understand systems architecture
