The most impactful digital products in the market today are the direct result of a seamless blend of business strategy, design and technology. Orchestrating this behind-the-scenes integration is a Product Manager, who prioritizes the customer experience from vision to execution and, together with their team, guides all workstreams toward a common vision and plan for delivery. Senior Product Managers collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business drivers and and define the desired customer and business outcomes. Alongside product teams, they define and validate product features, prioritize work and measure the product's performance.
Job responsibilities
- Experienced across all therapeutic areas (including HIV, Oncology, HBV/HCV etc.).
- Leverage data sets including IQVIA Claims, Komodo Health, DDD sales, 867, and 852 inventory datasets to support requirements gathering and designing solutions, and other analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, discuss findings, and present analytical solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of analytics solution.
- Provide technical and functional expertise in the Life Sciences domain to support business objectives.
- Help the Dev team troubleshoot and resolve challenges encountered during analysis and solution implementation.
- Help in Functional Testing of the Dev team's deliverables.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of analytics processes and methodologies.
- Analyze and assess existing-planned Commercial processes, systems, and workflows within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Work closely with researchers, leads, SMEs, data modelers, and project teams to capture and document the problem statement, detailed business and technical requirements.
- Following Agile principles, collaborate in the development of data driven AI based platforms models to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions for better data management, integration, and use within Commercial.
- Communicate business requirements clearly to the platform, data modeling and technical teams for effective GxP testing and solution implementation.
- Ensure the project requirements are met within specified timelines while maintaining high quality.
Job qualifications
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, UAT testing, and greenfield solution development.

- With support from your product team and stakeholders, you can shape a product vision and strategy, translating both into a roadmap with clear business and customer value-based measures of success.
- You have experience in user research and an understanding of design methods and processes.

- Good understanding of agile software development practices.
- You use customer data to understand user needs, product performance and value created for the customer.
Professional Skills
- Engineer/MBA/ Commercial Pharma specialist knowledge, with focus on sales analytics and/or digital marketing.
- Prior top 10 consulting industry experience in a similar role. 5 to 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, within pharmaceutical commercial, manufacturing and SCM process.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical Commercial processes, data, systems, and regulations.
- This will include key functional areas such as incentive compensation, goal setting, forecasting etc. Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies, and UAT testing and validation.
- Technical skills including SQL, R, Python, visualization tools including Tableau, Thoughtspot is highly preferred.
- Experience working on green field solutions or projects that require innovative data management approaches and use of AI.
- Proven ability to gather, document, and communicate business requirements effectively.
- Prior experience collaborating with data modeling teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong skills in MS office tools, slide creation, Visio, BRD, SRS Strong skills in MS office tools, slide creation, as well as Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus.
