Our organization:
The Enterprise AI/ML Product (Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Product) organization powers real-time, intelligent banking at Capital One through cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities and safe scaling of business-led innovations. Enterprise AI/ML is launching Capital One AI use cases and capabilities, advancing state-of-the-art AI technologies, building a well-managed enterprise platform, and delivering an easy-to-use platform experience.
Our team:
The Strategy & Analytics team is a new and growing team of business analysts within the Enterprise AI/ML Product organization. This small but mighty team advises AI/ML leadership and Product Managers on product strategy, product and business analytics, and emerging innovation trends across Capital One.
Your role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to solve complex problems across machine learning platforms, generative AI, and frontier ML research & development.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Problem solving: Partnering with product leaders to estimate and track value creation for new AI and ML use cases and capabilities
• Data analysis: Using data to understand how platforms and products are performing, and developing dashboards to provide transparency to platform leaders and stakeholders
• Financial analysis: Developing approaches for estimating potential costs and benefits of new AI and ML use cases
• Strategy: Scanning and analyzing the landscape of emerging AI and ML solutions inside and outside Capital One, as we seek to incubate next-generation innovation
• Product: Guiding business partners to evaluate opportunities for leveraging AI and ML technologies to drive business value
• Communication & influence: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leaders, to influence strategic AI and ML decisions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in analysis
• 1+ years of experience in consulting, investing, technology strategy, product management, or similar roles
• 1+ years working at a technology or fintech company
• Knowledge of or demonstrated investment in learning about emerging generative AI and machine learning methods, techniques, and applications
