We’re looking for an exceptional senior brand designer to lead the evolution of our brand. You will have a unique opportunity to develop and build our creative direction and brand identity from the ground up and get the opportunity to work with senior executives and X-functional leaders. This is an all-encompassing role that will include everything from ideation to execution to deliver compelling experiences across multiple marketing and sales channels. You will lead the effort to evolve and reinvigorate our brand, help us define our brand guidelines, provide creative direction for our new website, and position ourselves as leaders in the payments space.
What You'll Do:
- Drive the direction and evolution of the brand identity – Create a new brand identity that pushes boundaries and sets new standards. Create and maintain a scalable design system that is unique to TabaPay.
- Lead creative ideation, conception, and art direction in support of TabaPay’s goals and mission. Define and execute the creative vision for TabaPay's new website and all creative touchpoints and experiences.
- Execute the creative and design process - leverage excellent understanding of design and production principles to consistently produce engaging work.
- Support marketing and business priorities - Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to design assets for feature launches and other initiatives —websites, blog posts, events, collateral and everything in between.
- Manage time and priorities: Exhibit excellent time management skills and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
Who You Are:
- Strong skills in branding, design, and crafting visually compelling work. Portfolio of design work that spans multiple disciplines, placements and channels.
- 7+ years of experience working in either a creative agency or in-house environment.
- Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and Office Suite.
- Experience with visual storytelling and proven ability to design complex concepts into concise visualizations.
- Comfortable with print and digital production design standards.
- A passion for all aspects of design, knowledge of design trends, and a strong point of view
- Excellent communication and collaboration. Proactive, clear, and thoughtful communication with team members and stakeholders. You are a team player who can prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter – comfortable in a startup environment and taking ownership of initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3D motion design experience
- 3D modeling experience
- Experience or familiarity with marketing automation tools like Hubspot, Mailchimp
The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
This position will require a hybrid schedule 2-3x a week at our Palo Alto HQ.
