About the Role:
Hello Heart is growing rapidly and is looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join the marketing team to design content that delights our buyers, raises the bar for visual design, and elevates our brand image. Are you able to translate ideas and/or creative briefs into visually stunning designs that capture attention and spur action? Do you love working cross-functionally with a variety of teams that have diverse and often differing opinions? Do you have excellent communication skills that include the ability to confidently articulate design choices? If so, this could be the role for you.

Reporting to our VP of Brand Design, you will own both B2B and B2C marketing brand design. This includes growth marketing and member-focused strategies like direct mail and enrollments. You should excel at managing projects end-to-end, from brainstorming and design to production, approvals, and execution, while demonstrating a balance of creative innovation and strategic thinking. You’re informed and ahead of the latest design trends and well-versed in industry and creative best practices, particularly when it comes to marketing in the U.S. market.

We are looking for a designer who can thrive in both strategic and tactical environments. This is a newly created individual contributor role on our growing enterprise marketing team. If you enjoy wearing many hats and make an outsize impact beyond the traditional scope of a brand designer, we would love to hear from you.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Be the “go-to” person for all marketing design needs at the company, consistently raising the bar on creative development and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver quality, on-brand designs that effectively “speak” to diverse audiences, including employers, channels, and members, helping drive revenue and enrollment growth.
  • Ideate and execute marketing campaign assets (both B2B and B2C), including sales materials (slides, case studies, white papers, etc.) and digital assets (website, social media, etc.).
  • Support the direct mail process by collaborating with the member marketing team on brainstorming, coordinating production and design, and ensuring approvals.
  • Design materials to support B2C growth marketing efforts, including direct mail campaigns, digital campaigns, and member onboarding assets.
  • Modernize existing content to high design standards, ensuring alignment with the brand.
  • Support your designs using insights, including quantitative data/metrics and qualitative feedback.
  • Collaborate with other Hello Heart (and external) designers to ideate, share key learnings, create efficiencies, and ensure visual identity consistency.
  • Create and manage a brand asset library to streamline production and reduce delays.
  • Solve cross-functional design challenges while maintaining consistency across formats.
  • Provide design documentation and specifications.
  • Manage and assist with brand photoshoots and asset creation.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working in graphic design, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency experience
  • 5+ years in both B2B and B2C marketing with a focus on growth marketing, direct mail, and enrollment campaigns.
  • Experience in working inhouse within digital healthcare marketing is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in managing the creative process, including project management tools like Asana.
  • Exemplified mastery of the principles of design, typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Experience designing a variety of assets, including collateral, social, print, web, ads, and email templates.
  • Experience in a scaling company is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a graphic/visual design field.
  • Expertise using the latest creative design tools (Adobe CC, Figma/Sketch, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools, including Salesforce, Google Suite, Pardot, and Asana.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000.00 to $150,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role and level.
