As Chase enters an exciting chapter of expansion and continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Brand Designer who shares our passion for great customer service. Working closely with the other designers and content writers across UK and Germany, you will be part of a fast-paced team that produces a diverse range of creative assets across multiple channels.
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Brand Designer to join our dynamic in-house Creative Studio, helping us develop, enhance and scale our brand design toolkit, enabling us to create immersive brand experiences across all touch points. You will have experience crafting and expanding brand guidelines, with a good eye for design, photography and motion.
You're also well versed in creating marketing assets across many marketing channels, ensuring brand consistency and channel best practice are always applied. You will be an integrated thinker who can bring together an idea across different channels. You will feel comfortable in Figma and across Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, spanning your skillset from brand advertising to performance marketing. Initially the sole designer in the Berlin team, you'll be willing to take care of business as usual tasks, as well as coming up with creative ideas.
Job responsibilities
- Excellent hands-on brand design work and presentations across multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Working side by side with other designers and writers on idea creation, design execution and peer reviews, maintaining a creative team culture
- Confidently manage and own projects from brief to delivery, working with multiple stakeholders
- Shaping and crafting our brand expression in partnership with our marketing investments copywriter
- Partnering with marketing colleagues on creative briefs across paid, earned and owned channels
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external creative agencies for cohesive communication and effective design outcomes
- Ensure brand guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design process
- Ability to present design decisions effectively to team members and stakeholders and confidence in justifying your work
- Quality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelines
- Ensure customers are at the heart of everything we do, and that all design work meets the firm wide accessibility standards
- Work with Compliance and Legal stakeholders to maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislative approvals needed for relevant channels, ensuring all materials are consistent with legal conditions and codes of practice
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- You have substantial hands-on experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at a senior level
- You're experienced in delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong brand focus
- You have a solid understanding of motion design, and how it impacts brand expression
- You have a solid end to end creative design process
- You're able to respond quickly to urgent requests and prioritise in an agile way with all open projects
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating brand emphasis, creative thinking and an understanding for audiences
- You're comfortable using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign), with the ability to animate
- You're composed under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment
- You're motivated, curious and proactive, identifying when to challenge as well as when to pull back
- You are fluent in English, with a good command for German
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or similar design related qualifications
- Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
- Knowledge of video editing and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Ability to create HTML5 banners
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
