StimLabs is looking to add a Senior BI Developer to our BI team to create business intelligence solutions that inform and optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across all departments. This role will be in office our Roswell office and report to our Director of Business Intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and trends.
- Perform data analysis and deliver meaningful insights to support decision-making processes.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Develop and implement DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
- Work with data warehouses and tools like SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Enhance and refine existing business intelligence systems to improve performance and usability.
- Create customized visualizations and user-defined calculations to meet business needs.
- Develop macros and advanced Excel formulas for specific solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse tools (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS).
- Ability to create compelling visualizations and dashboards.
- Experience with DAX queries and advanced Excel formulas.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Experience with Apptrix and/or Infor and building data views in these applications is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Power BI and SQL.
