Your team

Your new team is a group of motivated, collaborative, and innovative Engineers. Working on-site, hybrid, or fully remote, they come together to create and evolve a well-loved product but always keep room for new ideas and approaches. Your mission

You’ll join our mission to make Frontify a place for all brands to thrive. You’ll take our brand management platform to new heights by building and enhancing the platform used by Lufthansa, Allianz, and many more.

You’ll be working in our Search Platform Team, which focuses on building the underlying platform search capabilities. Your customers will be other engineers who want to implement search in their teams' features. Your mission is to work on a search service that isolates the tech complexity of search and enables the other teams to easily index and search. Equally important is building knowledge in the search domain.

Your responsibilities

• You will architect and develop an abstraction layer over search technologies (AWS, OpenSearch, etc.) that will enable the stream aligned teams to deliver reliable and performant search features fast.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges, translating insights into platform improvements.
• You will research, evaluate and implement search techniques and technologies that serve the product needs.
• You will become an expert in the search topic and educate others in the organization.
• You will be a key player in elevating the search experience in Frontify.

Your story

• You can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or on-site in our St. Gallen office – or even mix it up during the week! Choose where to work from that works best for you.
• You’re an expert in PHP and have experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, GraphQL, REST, MySQL & Docker.
• You're skilled in architecting/designing, developing, and maintaining large software solutions.
• You're proficient in writing Unit Tests and are familiar with test-driven development (TDD) and domain-driven design (DDD).
• You can work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with people of different backgrounds from different product teams.
• You hold strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• You speak English fluently.
