THE TEAM AND ITS MISSION
We are a cross-functional team developing an ultra-wideband (UWB) based Local Positioning System (LPS) to enable our advanced player and ball tracking solutions. To capture and provide precise position and motion data in the sports environment, we are developing a full-stack of software components including firmware, backend and frontend applications. Joining our team, you will optimize existing backend and frontend solutions for our low latency sensor network architecture, but also create completely new KINEXON products in collaboration with your colleagues from other software and hardware departments.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimize existing backend and frontend solutions for our low latency sensor network architecture
- Create completely new KINEXON products
- Taking over technical leadership in designing and developing monitoring and configuration services
- Design APIs within our LPS ecosystem
- Together with the team, you will primarily face the following challenges:
- Real-time networking
- Microservice architectures
- Advanced algorithms
- Parallel processing
- Configuration and monitoring of distributed systems
- Continuous integration + deployment
- Full-stack system testing
YOUR PROFILE
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming as well as scripting languages
- Good programming skills in C++ and Vue.js web frontend applications
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Strong knowledge in software architecture and design patterns
- You are a reliable team player willing to take on responsibility and move the team forward with your own solutions
OUR TECH STACK
We use a diverse tech stack to develop our microservice product solution. In the backend, C++ is still our main language, but we are slowly transitioning to include multiple different languages depending on the specific needs. The set includes Java- & TypeScript as well as Golang, Python and Rust. In the frontend, we use Vue.js for our configuration and insights UIs and Rust with WASM if we require more performance. For managing the deployment of our distributed system as well as aiding our development needs, we make use of a dockerized workflow.
