Job Summary

This project involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services. You will build and integrate web services to support both internal and external features. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll define, design, and deliver new features. The role includes ensuring high code quality, optimizing performance, and contributing to system architecture decisions. You'll also support CI/CD practices and containerization for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Python and Django frameworks.

• Build and integrate web services (RESTful and SOAP) to support internal and external application features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, product, DevOps, data teams) to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure high code quality through best practices in code review, testing, and documentation.

• Participate in architectural discussions and system design decisions, especially for backend workflows and service layers.

• Optimize backend performance and scalability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

• Contribute to CI/CD practices and support containerization when needed (especially Docker/Kubernetes for deployment).

• Communicate clearly and effectively in English in a remote or hybrid environment.

• Manage time independently and deliver on commitments, maintaining high autonomy in a senior-level role.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of senior back-end development experience.

• Proven expertise in backend technologies, particularly Python.

• Proven expertise in developing scalable and secure backend applications using Django.

• In-depth experience in developing and integrating web services, including RESTful and SOAP.
