Senior Azure Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Azure Developer with at least 6 years of experience to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and design expertise in Cloud Services, along with experience in implementing applications that interface with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and major Cloud Service Providers.
Duties:

• Provide expertise as a programmer and designer for Cloud Services.
• Implement and develop applications to interface with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and offerings from major Cloud Service Providers.
• Responsible for analysis, design, and coding of new applications.
• Lead and manage complex work efforts independently while providing leadership to others.
• Involved in maintenance, enhancement, and development of applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst, Application Architect, and Application Development Team to ensure design and code meet customer requirements.
• May work with SaaS and Cloud service providers as needed.
• Comfortable working with C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services, SQL, Git SCM, and JavaScript.

Required Skills:

• 6 years of documented Azure experience, with the ability to work independently on complex work efforts.
• 6 years of strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• 6 years of proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• 6 years of experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for provisioning cloud resources.
• 6 years of knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and GitHub actions.
• 6 years of working knowledge of Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• 6 years of experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and storage solutions.
• 6 years of understanding of identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, OAuth, etc.), networking security, and compliance best practices.
• 6 years of proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and working with API management.
• 6 years of experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• 6 years of strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• 6 years of ability to work in Agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• 6 years of familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps culture.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Application Security is a plus.
• Experience with mobile and responsive design practices is a plus.​​​​​​​
• Azure certifications like AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.
