Leidos is searching for a highly motivated Senior Audio Video (AV) Systems Engineer to support a government customer’s IT environment. The Civil IT Leidos team will be responsible for supporting the customer’s IT and AV systems used in various environments such as offices, conference rooms, classrooms, and event spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience leading government enterprise AV solutions and managing multi-location environments. The candidate will also have experience interfacing with and supporting senior government customers.
This position will be based in Alexandria, VA.
Primary Responsibilities:

Installation, setup, configuration and maintenance of AV systems.

Performs techniques of professional sound systems and audio equipment, video projection and display systems, audio and video conferencing technologies as well as control systems and IP-based network.

Responsible for the design, programming, and development of customer integrated control solutions for complex audio-visual systems.

Responsible for providing customer with GUI/Panel designs for approval prior to implementation · Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, encoding, and debugging complex audio, video, switching, and control system problems.

Performs AMX, Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, and QSC control system programming, implementation and testing for System Integration client projects.

Performs Q-SYS Designer DSP programming. Ensure operation of audiovisual equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.

Leads programming code reviews, as required, and resolves field code issues.

Contributes to design review and code review, as required.

Perform in a supervisory capacity as needed
Basic Qualifications:
-
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
-
BA/BS degree and 8+ years of IT experience.

Experience leading a team of AV resources and/or IT resources.

Experience supporting enterprise AV for environments with multiple locations.

AV End User support experience, including senior government customers.

Hands on experience working in an operational environment, supporting live events with greater than 1000 attendees.

Proficiency in A/V systems, design, software and tools.

Strong knowledge of network configurations, DSP and video settings.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for integrated A/V systems.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Cisco UC/VTC

Project Management experience

Knowledge of TCP/IP network routing and switching

CTS Certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
