Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Solution Development team.
What you'll do?
You will be involved in testing – both automated and manual (for instance functional and non-functional) on all applications from the earliest opportunity available in the process till the software solution is on live environment.
Essentially You will:
- Evaluate application requirements and design documents;
- Create, reviewing, scheduling and implementing both manual and automation functional tests on given product;
- Report, research, validate complex defects;
- Maintain all sort of documentation related with the quality assurance and testing functions;
- Communicate the removal of different sort of issues, defects, or uncertainties, related with the Software product under development;
- Process employed for software application delivery;
- Guide and support the fellow colleagues in their daily work, as well share experience with them;
- Communicate testing progress to all relevant stakeholders;
- Contribute in retrospectives and defect escape analysis;
- Track the new/updated requirements in the project and modifying testing artifacts accordingly;
- Gather information about employed metrics.
Qualifications
What you'll bring?
- At least 5 years of professional experience as Automation Engineer;
- Experience with a QA Automation role and exposure to multiple test frameworks;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Experience with software development lifecycle;
- Experience with version control systems;
- Experience in Java;
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Fluency in English.
The following skills will be considered an advantage:
- Background in working with Selenium/Cucumber or similar
- Experience as a Performance QA Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of OS(Linux/Unix/Windows)
- Experience with virtualization or containerization
- Development experience (Java/Python/Jython/Ruby)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Junit, Pytest)
- Hands-on experience with TCP/IP protocol operation
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools
- Experience with behavior/data-driven development
- Experience with Ansible, Packer, Terraform.
