As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for managing and performing assurance and advisory projects to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, improve business operations, protect company assets and shareholder value, and to maintain compliance with company policies and regulations. You will be responsible for developing formal written reports that communicate project results and recommendations to management. You will be responsible for taking on an experienced role that will analyze issues, make well-reasoned recommendations, and solve problems. An additional responsibility will be to act as a mentor and resource to other less experienced team members. In this high visibility role, you will give to the organization’s control environment while gaining a broad perspective of operations and business process across the global organization through a variety of assignments.
Responsibilities

Lead assigned assurance and advisory projects from the audit plan including:

Prepare project plans based to address business risks identified in the audit plan
-
Perform fieldwork to achieve project objectives and adequately mitigate risk
-
Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness, improve business operations, protect company assets and shareholder value, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.

Draft written reports to communicate project results and recommendations to executive management.

Supervise emerging business risks, industry trends and professional practices to propose or amend projects on the audit plan.

Exhibit leadership skills by providing solutions to problems observed within the Company.

Serve as an adviser on areas of subject matter expertise to the department and other collaborators across the company.

Maintain an effective working relationship with management, internal audit team members and other key collaborators.

Demonstrate effective collaboration and business partnership.

Liaise with and facilitate work of external auditors as needed.
Education & Experience
-
Required: "" or equivalent experience

Masters Degree (MBA, Finance/Accounting) or equivalent experience, and/or CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA

Preferred minimum 5 years’ experience in auditing or consulting services for a multinational company in either internal role or as a member of a public accounting or advisory services firm.

A demonstrated understating of business processes.

Project management and organization skills, including attention to detail

Knowledge of internal audit standards (IPPF) and COSO framework

Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to lead meetings and management presentations.

Self-starter with a keen understanding of business dynamics

Up to 30% travel required.
