Senior Associate, Real Assets

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in resolving breaks and preparing cash projections or wire instructions.
• Support fund setup, including structuring investments, AIVs, and partners in the system.
• Calculate management fees and fund expenses and prepare the NAV pack.
• Process capital calls and distributions, including waterfall calculations.
• Prepare and issue Partners’ Capital Statements (PCAPs).
• Prepare Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Handle audit and investor queries promptly.
• Generate customized ad hoc reports for funds or investors as required.
• Provide training and mentorship to new team members.

Skills & Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

• Fresh Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA with 2+ years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Real Assets, or Investment Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Basic understanding of legal fund documents and their interpretation.
• Knowledge of financial products, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Key Deliverables & Goals:

• Zero issues in fund setup and static data accuracy.
• No unresolved breaks on NAV date, ensuring timely follow-up with internal teams, clients, or third parties.
• Accurate and timely deliverables in line with the client-agreed calendar.
• Zero findings in Internal Audit (IA) reviews / SOC1 certification.
• No escalations from clients or internal counterparts.
• No material errors in NAV, Financial Statements (FS), PCAPs, or any other deliverables.
• Zero re-runs of deliverables due to SS&C processing errors.
