The MiDaS Team is composed of risk managers and data stewards who collaborate with ERO business units and their data partners to ensure the adherence to Capital One Data Management policies and initiatives.
The MiDaS PMO defines and provides a centralized portfolio to support workflow, roadmaps, concise communications, and govern Enterprise and EDRM initiatives utilizing a customer focused approach to data management. The PMO oversees team BAU and sustains the team's well-managed status. As part of this team, we are working on a new initiative to centralize data change management interactions with upstream data producers to make change more transparent to our downstream consumers.
In this role, you will be the linchpin that connects our product teams, stakeholders, and end-users, ensuring seamless project execution and effective change management. You will maintain a bird's-eye view of the program status, navigate complex challenges and play a pivotal role in transforming our data change management.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Program Oversight: Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of program status, key milestones, and risks and provide clear visibility to senior leadership and stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with product teams to align on road mapping, resourcing and delivery timelines and ensure project goals are in sync with broader program level objectives
• Transformation Catalyst: Be the driver of transformation, challenging status quo and identifying opportunities to enhance our delivery processes; leverage industry best practices to implement innovative solutions that create value and mitigate risks
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate discussions, manage expectations and ensure alignment across cross - functional teams
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate program performance; identify areas of improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
• At least 2 Years of Project Management experience
• At least 1 year of experience using PowerPoint or Google Slides
• At least 1 year of experience using Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• 3+ years of data analysis experience
• 1+ years of experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
