Job Scope:

Plays a pivotal role on the Endau Investment Team, working closely with a collaborative group of investment professionals including the firm’s Managing Partners. This role is primarily engaged in deal sourcing and screening, trend analysis, pre-investment diligence, and post-investment deal support.

Responsibilities

• Source, research, and recommend potential target companies
• Manage due diligence, financial modeling, and communications with target companies including deal structuring and negotiations
• Communicate investment results and market insights with senior leaders (e.g., through live presentations and ongoing analysis/reports)
• Manage end-to-end analytical projects by quickly understanding context and developing structured analysis to reach alignment and provide guidance to senior stakeholders
• Identify and educate the team on new technology trends and markets, and recommend high-potential investments
• Actively monitor the portfolio companies, identifying areas where we can help them succeed, and engage in special projects to create value for them
• Source, court, procure, and manage relationships in the investment ecosystem that may be helpful to the portfolio companies, and/or generate proprietary deal flow
• Engage and support the global and regional platform
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 8+ years work experience in consulting, investment banking or private equity at leading firms, preferably covering the tech space. Hands on M&A / IPO advisory experience
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with extensive experience in financial modeling
• Excellent relationship management skills, and demonstrable ability to gain founder trust
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Has managed and mentored junior team members
• Driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence and tolerance for ambiguity and change
• Possesses an existing South East Asian network of friends and professional colleagues
• Operational and/or fundraising experience is a plus
• Board and Investor Shareholder management experience is a plus
