Job Summary
This regional role is based in the Singapore office and provides direct support to the Head of Risk, APAC. The Senior Associate will assist in driving best practices in risk management across the APAC region (Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia) to support business growth.
Primary Responsibilities

Drive best practice risk management across APAC, including participating in the implementation of new initiatives or projects as required.

Monitor key risk indicators in APAC, proactively engage stakeholders to understand emerging risks, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in maintaining management dashboards.

Implement and maintain the outsourcing program, including managing the outsourcing register, conducting due diligence on outsourced vendors, and reporting on outsourcing risks.

Support the incident management process to ensure prompt identification and remediation of incidents, and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Provide support in other risk specializations, including business resiliency, investment risk, ESG/climate risk, and counterparty risk.

Assist with internal efforts on automation, documentation, and simplification of processes.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher required.

At least 5-7 years of experience in an operational risk, investment risk, or compliance-related role.

Experience engaging stakeholders across the APAC region, as well as colleagues in Europe and the US.

Strong ownership of risk management responsibilities.

Positive, proactive attitude with a strong degree of intellectual curiosity and commercial thinking.

Strong team ethic, with the ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.

Decisive and able to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail.

Proficient with MS Office tools, such as PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience working at an international investment management firm is preferred.
