This position supports the Ankura Disputes & Economics practice - one of seven practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.

Our Disputes & Economics practice focuses on assisting clients with financial, accounting, and economic issues associated with complex litigation and International Arbitration. Dispute resolution engagements involve preparing expert reports and providing oral testimony in court and arbitrations on forensic accounting, damages, and valuation matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of dispute resolution, complex global disputes, international arbitration, and forensic accounting engagements, focusing on damages assessments, valuations, and financial investigations.

  • Prepare and review detailed financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF models.

  • Review documents and compile research.

  • Attend and actively contribute to client meetings.

  • Develop an external network of clients and business contacts.

  • Obtain a professional qualification.

Requirements:

  • Graduate-level qualification or equivalent from a leading university (minimum 2.1 degree).

  • Be pursuing or willing to pursue ACA, ACCA, or CFA charter.

  • Interest in forensic accountancy or dispute resolution.

  • Experience in valuation, auditing, or other accounting services is beneficial.

  • Background working in either Big 4 or a boutique consulting firm.

  • International experience would be highly beneficial.

  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong research and analytical abilities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Initiative, adaptability, creative problem-solving skills, and teamwork ability.

  • Advanced technical skills in database and statistical programming languages like SQL, R, Python, SAS are beneficial.

  • Proficiency in a second language, in addition to English, is beneficial.
