We are seeking a passionate and innovative ATE Test Engineer to develop cutting-edge test solutions for our SSD and UFS controllers using modern and efficient ATE platforms. You will be responsible for developing test plans, ATE test programs, silicon validation, test methodology concepts, multi-site hardware development, product characterization, and high-volume production support at offshore subcontractors. As test engineers, we must constantly evolve and apply the right technology and testing solution to be successful!
Responsibilities:
-
Develop test programs of SSD and UFS controller products, and enhance test coverage to ensure excellent outgoing quality and customer satisfaction.
-
Optimize test programs to reduce product test times and manufacturing cost by improving the efficiency of the testing methods.

Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency.
-
Work closely with product and equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency to maximize ROI.

Work closely with design teams to develop design for test features to drive lower costs and increased efficiency
-
Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test processes.

Work with vendors to test hardware
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
-
5+ years of proven experience in Test Engineering role.-
-
Proficiency in programming with any of the following (C/C++, Visual Basic, Python or Perl)
-
Proven expertise in test strategy development, test plan definition, DFT pattern implementation (ATPG SCAN, TDF, MemBIST and repair, BSACAN, JTAG, and Functional Patterns).

Programming skills for writing and debugging ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test programs and test-related hardware development.

Solid understanding of testing for CMOS SoCs. DDR, and ONFI. (this is standard testing terminology)

Experience with data analysis software in support of characterization reports and yield reporting tools such as JMP, Excel VBA, Galaxy, or Data Conductor.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or computer engineering

Prefer candidates with exceptional digital, analog, and MXS test programming and debug experience. Familiar with testing IP blocks such as PLL, efuse, LDOs, PCIe,

Hands on experience with ATE architecture and test hardware design and debugging, schematic capture, and PCB layout.

Experience with test processes and vector conversion tools such as VTAN and proficiency in debugging issues during development or high-volume production.
