Job Description
Your role:
-
Be part of the MR SW Architecture group & represent SW Automation Team as the Test Automation Architect.
-
Define, own, and develop the automation test strategy for a product, subsystem, or component of all MR SW programs.
-
Contribute to all critical SW Performance & Reliability Roadmap, Strategy and Execution activities.
-
Lead estimation, planning, and risk management activities related to test automation.
-
Provide technical guidance and review support to the automation team.
-
Participate in reviews of automation deliverables.
-
Recommend suitable test automation approaches to the team.
-
Develop, review, execute, report, and maintain traceability of automation test cases.
-
Manage technical communication within the team and with partners/stakeholders.
-
Engage in automation improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
-
Identify opportunities for test automation in assigned areas.
-
Drive the automation work within the team to achieve committed automation coverage.
-
Take ownership of test automation for your scope of responsibility.
-
Mentor junior testers on automation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
-
Provide status updates to management on overall automation progress.
You're the right fit if:

Bachelor degree in engineering or other relevant discipline
-
12+ years of experience on test discipline, test strategy, test automation
-
Very strong Programming skills (preferably C#) is a must.
-
Hands on experience with automation framework development
-
Good experience on automation tools, scripting languages is required
-
Expertise in automation test strategy, test design skills and should be able to guide the team.
-
Strong work experience with BDD, Gherkin, Specflow, Visual Studio, N unit framework and API testing is a must.

Strong experience in software life cycle management tools like ALM/TFS used for Verification activities.
-
Should possess good knowledge in functional, performance, reliability and load testing through automation.
-
Should possess good knowledge in development, testing and debugging skills is a must
Additional requirements:

Experience in healthcare industry is preferred.
-
Good understanding of the defect management procedures and tools.
-
Good understanding of configuration management & related tools is required.
-
Good understanding/experience in SAFe way of working.
-
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Shall be very good technically
