Senior Architect / Project Manager

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced project architect and project manager for our Columbia, SC or Charlotte, NC office.   Both offices are growing and looking for creative, enthusiastic, professional people excited about the opportunity to work on a variety of project types including federal, state, and local government work, higher education, retail and community driven work.

The person in this position will be responsible for leading the team through the design process by organizing, executing and coordinating multiple projects.  A successful candidate will have a passion for overall project design, building performance and project performance. The candidate must be a good listener and be communitive with our clients, colleagues, and project team members.

Experience and Qualifications

• BArch (5-year program) or MArch (6-year program) from an accredited college or university
• 10+ years of related architectural design experience (including internship, co-op or professional experience)
• Proficient with relevant software such as Revit
• Registered Architect license is strongly preferred
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to organize a team toward the project goal and to delegate responsibilities to achieve the goals.

Additional Information
 

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Architect with a salary range of $87,700.00 - $139,100.00 .
