700Apps is looking for a skilled Architect Engineer to join our team on a one-year contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the architectural design, development, and oversight of engineering projects, ensuring that all technical aspects are executed in alignment with our governmental client requirements and industry standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while working in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop architectural plans and specifications for various engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Review and approve design concepts, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform architectural decisions.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into design processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heritage projects.
- Proficient in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
- Ability to develop and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Professional certification or licensure in architecture or engineering is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
