Job Summary
Responsibilities
• Work closely with customers and distributors to understand their needs and challenges and provide technical support and guidance on the use of IFF cultures and enzymes.
• Conduct trials, demonstrations, and trainings at customer sites or IFF facilities, and evaluate the performance and quality of cultured products.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to customers and distributors on how to optimize their processes and formulations and troubleshoot any issues or complaints.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the dairy industry, and position IFF as a trusted partner and solution provider.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical experts, such as R&D, sales, marketing, and regulatory, to share knowledge, best practices, and insights on the dairy markets and applications.
• Monitor and communicate market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and new opportunities for IFF products and solutions.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other events to promote IFF's capabilities and offerings.
• Travel mainly throughout Middle East to visit customers and distributors, and support IFF's cultures business.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in food science, dairy science, biotechnology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the fresh fermented industry and application, with knowledge of fresh fermented production processes, formulations, ingredients, and quality parameters. Expertise within Cheese Application is a strong plus.
- Expertise in the use of cultures and enzymes in dairy production, and familiarity with IFF's portfolio of dairy solutions.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English. French speaking is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and adapt to different cultures and environments.
