You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.



As an Senior App Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our coupon website’s mobile application. You will manage a small team of developers, address technical debt, prioritize the backlog, and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Oversee code reviews, ensuring high-quality coding standards.
  • Development:Design, develop, and maintain the mobile application using React and Expo.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create an engaging and user-friendly interface.
  • Technical Debt Management:Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt to enhance performance and maintainability. Implement best practices in code management and software development.
  • Backlog Management:Work closely with product management to maintain and prioritize the development backlog. Ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve application issues reported by users or identified during testing.
  • Continuously monitor application performance and make improvements as necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for the codebase, development processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in mobile app development, particularly with React and Expo.
  • Proven experience in team management and project leadership.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with coupon or e-commerce applications.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
