We are seeking a talented Healthcare Analytics Consultant with a background in patient services, life sciences, or healthcare analytics to join our team. As a key member of our analytics division, you will leverage your expertise to design and implement advanced analytical solutions, focusing on dashboard design, data visualization, and strategic decision support for our healthcare clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and life sciences organizations to understand their data needs and business objectives.
- Design and develop intuitive and actionable dashboards and reports that provide insights into patient outcomes, clinical trends, operational efficiencies, and financial performance.
- Utilize your expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling to extract meaningful patterns and trends from complex healthcare datasets.
- Lead the development and implementation of predictive analytics models to support clinical decision-making, patient engagement strategies, and resource optimization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, IT specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated analytics solutions.
- Provide guidance and training to clients on leveraging analytics tools and interpreting dashboard metrics for informed decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare analytics and data visualization.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on dashboard design and solutioning.
- Ability to quickly understand business problems and study existing data models.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of healthcare data standards, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy considerations.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively.
- Certifications in relevant healthcare analytics platforms or methodologies (e.g., CHDA, CPHIMS) are a plus.
Additional Information
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., computer science, statistics, economics, operations research, pharma) and strong academic record with 10+ years of relevant work experience (required)
- Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD, MD) (highly preferred)
- Leadership experience in life sciences consulting with focus on data, technology and analytics including working with senior clients (required)
- Experience at a top global management consulting firm (preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of success in leadership, planning and execution of diverse engagements in life sciences or healthcare industry (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills and ability to deal with unstructured real-world problems (required)
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills (required)
- Knowledge of key issues, trends and current developments in the pharmaceutical, medtech and healthcare industries (required)
- Expertise on commercial analytics solutions such as SFE, Market Analytics, Forecasting, Omnichannel, Patient analytics and RWE solutions (required)
