Job Description
Position Location:
This is a hybrid position that requires (2) in person days a week in our Orlando, FL office which is located at 7501 Greenbriar Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819.
Position Purpose
This individual is responsible for creating short and midterm supply modeling utilizing supply chain automation software such as JDA and Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru. The role also will increase CHEP Logistics’ inflow and outflow automation processes through JDA PSO and other platforms. In addition, the candidate leveraging technologies such as machine learning, network optimization algorithms, and advanced analytics to identify and communicate opportunities to business partners to improve network efficiencies.
The analyst will work cross functionally with Logistics, Operations, Transportation, Tactical/Strategic Planning and others to deliver optimized network expenses and automated logistics execution of customer issues.
The candidate will have responsibilities for making significant improvements to auto-digital planning. This will include data cleansing efforts and streamlining key inputs that go into JDA-PSO tool, for touchless planning and execution.
The candidate will also be responsible for continually identifying opportunities and overcoming barriers to increase customer sourcing from primary service center(s) that would result in reduced transportation length of haul and yield cost reductions for the entire supply chain.
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for short and mid-term optimization of A and B relocations throughout the network
- Responsible for collaborating with demand planning, production planning, transportation, logistics and operations to continually seek feedback and incorporate the most realistic inputs for Llamasoft model runs
- Responsible for key inputs include demand forecast, inflow forecast, site level production plan, and transportation rates for the entire network
- Utilize network optimization algorithms, and advanced analytics to identify and drive actions to improve network efficiencies
- Responsible for leading network optimization, cost out initiatives
- Responsible for designing and managing big data repository-powered by Tableau and Power BI that provides real time visibility into digital planning and optimization of flows within US network
- Responsible for scenario planning using Llamasoft/JDA
- Drive annual length of haul reductions through optimizing the network
- Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasts for logistics and transportation costs
- Responsible for all ad-hoc mid-term ad hoc analysis in regards to A and B relocations as network dynamics continuously change

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 2+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced analytical and modelling skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Strong technical skills
- Scenario planning in Llamaoft/JDA
- Creating sense and response mechanisms
- Big Data, machine learning, robotic process automation
