THE TEAM

The Ticketmaster International Business Strategy team partners with regional and local leadership across 30+ Ticketmaster markets worldwide to craft and deliver business strategies aligned with Ticketmaster’s global vision. Within this team, Strategic Finance plays a critical role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, conducting in-depth analysis and providing actionable insights. We work closely with senior stakeholders to create data-driven solutions that enhance revenue, reduce costs and improve efficiency, shaping the future of Ticketmaster International.

THE JOB

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering data-driven insights, financial models and strategic analysis to support key business decisions. Reporting into the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, this role provides exposure to high-impact commercial and strategic initiatives, including market entry evaluations, commercial deal analysis and ad-hoc problem-solving requests.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports for internal stakeholders, including analysis of KPIs and business performance from Salesforce and financial systems.
  • Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and minimise errors.

Financial Modelling

  • Assist with the production of financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, market entry strategies, and commercial deals.
  • Provide support in building business cases to understand the profitability of new initiatives.

Strategic Analysis & Planning

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to support the development of long-term strategies, including conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Participate in strategic projects, evaluating new market entry opportunities and business growth initiatives.
  • Assist with the annual strategic planning process and ensure alignment with finance during the budget process.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and problem solving for senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise with various departments, including Finance, Marketing and Operations, to gather data and provide analytical support.
  • Work closely with senior team members to understand key business drivers and contribute to decision-making processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business or STEM, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel for financial modelling and data analysis; knowledge of PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse large datasets, identify trends and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving: A curious mindset with the ability to approach business challenges with creative and strategic solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
