Position Summary

The role of Senior Analyst within the Risk Management Department of CVS Health is responsible for assisting the Director of Insurance with managing risk through the analysis of insurance and indemnification language within all contracts and issuance of certificates of insurance.  This position will need to work closely with internal Business Partners to better understand the risks associated with their operations to properly assess the risk to CVS.   In addition to contract analysis, this position will assist in the collection, analysis, and input of renewal exposure data for all lines of insurance carried by CVS Health. 

NOTE: This is a hybrid role with the ideal candidate residing near our Cumberland, RI office.  However, all qualified candidates will be considered in other locations. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

∙            Review and analyze insurance requirements and indemnification language within contracts.

∙            Issue and review Certificates of Insurance for policy renewals, events, credentialing, audits, lease administration, etc.

∙            Guidance on risk exposure to internal and external customers

∙            Accumulation and review of renewal exposure information

∙            Collaborate with internal business partners and insurance broker partners.

∙            Support timely policy renewals by supplying documentation requested by insurance brokers and underwriters.

∙            Maintain and update the schedule of insurance for all insurance policies carried by the Company.

∙            Communicate with landlords, property managers, lenders, and agents concerning our insurance programs and adherence to lease obligations.

∙            Assist in the administrative process of tracking healthcare provider enrollment in state Patient Compensation Funds.

Required Experience:

∙            3 years’ experience in insurance or risk management industry

∙            Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional work experience

∙            Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

∙            Excellent written and verbal communication skills

∙            Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
