Overview:

The Global Pricing and Interchange team partners across regions and global business units to execute changes in economics aligned to product- and market-led strategy under a consistent strategic framework. The team leads the execution of initiatives whose complexity and scope require a global view and coordination. We advocate and drive revenue optimization, simplicity, enhanced customer and employee experience, and adherence to principles. The team identifies ways to leverage data for answering business questions and driving operational efficiency. We innovate using new age technologies and data analysis techniques to discover actionable insights and communicate data in new and more effective ways for influencing business decisions, encouraging long-term customer engagement, improving processes and productivity, and overall evolving the way we do business.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing data-driven innovative scalable analytical solutions and identifying opportunities to support Pricing and Interchange team in a quantitative manner and facilitate informed recommendations / decisions.
• Activities include performing simulations and creating predictive models, behavioral segmentation frameworks, profitability analyses, ad hoc reporting, and data visualizations.
• Work closely with global & regional pricing teams to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and data visualization capabilities on large volumes of data to support analytics and reporting needs across products, markets, and services.
• Contributes to the development of custom analyses and solutions, derives insights from extracted data to solve critical business questions.
• Translates client/ stakeholder needs into technical analyses and/or solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners and presents findings and outcomes to clients/stakeholders.
• Accountable for delivering high quality project solutions and tools within agreed upon timelines and budget parameters and conducting post- implementation reviews.
Role
• Supports the management and execution of multiple work streams associated to the pricing and interchange transformation agenda which includes several pillars and themes such as optimization, customer experience, etc.
• Identifies and develops creative solutions, with a strong analytical and fact-based foundation, and leads teams toward its implementation.
• Conducts analysis and problem solving as needed.
• Partners with several stakeholders across the organization conducive to advance assigned projects.
• Communicates effectively to peers and management on progress against initiatives

• Experience applying financial and business management principles, theories and concepts. Experience with financial modeling (e.g., P&L projections, Cost-benefit, ROI, etc.).

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to build alignment without direct authority.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring that key messages are articulated in a brief and clear manner.
• Self-managed and self-driven. Able to anticipate needs and execute according to them.
• Ability to turn data into meaningful information and present it in a concise, professional manner for senior management review.
• Ability to lead through influence and thrive despite challenges.
• Ability to interact effectively across multiple functions, geographies, and levels within the company.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion.
• Experience with any one of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI/similar tools).
• Experience developing complex analytics applications and data consulting
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA highly desirable
• Experience with Hadoop, SQL Server, Microsoft BI Stack, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI Fabric, Alteryx, SSIS etc. is a plus
• Financial Institution or a Payments experience is a plus
