ATI Advisory is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our company.

ATI is at an exciting juncture in our growth, and we’re seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Managed Care Strategy and Operations team. The ideal candidate has Medicare and/or Medicaid experience working inside a health plan organization or closely with health plan organizations and understands the interaction of state and federal policy on managed care program design and strategy. This individual will support client engagements and provide strong client services orientation from project conception to delivery; have experience and comfort in managing to project deadlines; and have an interest in growing with the company.

Responsibilities                                                           

  • Manage and lead efforts related to managed care, primarily with managed care organizations including Medicaid plans, Medicare Advantage plans, Special Needs Plans, and vendors building managed care program strategies, with a lens on policy, health plan strategy, state impacts, market opportunities, and operational concerns.
  • Analyze relevant legislation, statutes/regulations, and policies related to managed care (e.g., Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, Medicaid managed care), and summarize/identify impacts for internal and external audience.
  • Solve problems and use judgement to identify and question key assumptions that drive analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare related issues, and think creatively about analyses and datasets to deliver value to clients.
  • Develop written summaries, policy briefs, and PowerPoint presentations to provide strategic recommendations to clients.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in public policy, public health, public administration, business, or other related field.
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience preferred; including consulting, program administration, or operations specific to Medicare and/or Medicaid.
  • Experience and comfort in independently analyzing health legislation, regulations and policy/program information, preparing written summaries and visual displays that clearly convey information.
  • Ability to manage and lead tasks and lead small projects, providing critical insights into project design and execution.
  • Ability to problem solve independently and work with incomplete information.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to synthesize extensive research findings into relevant insights.
  • High level of initiative, quick learning ability, and resourcefulness.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Comfort presenting analyses to external audiences.
  • Demonstrated interest and growing expertise in at least one area: Medicare; Medicare Advantage; Medicaid; managed care policy, health plan operations.
  • High degree of professional maturity.
