Invesco Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is evolving its capabilities and is looking for new Team members. Enterprise Risk is a global Second Line of Defense function that engages with Invesco Business teams to facilitate delivery and oversight of the risk management framework and provide a consistent, aligned approach to risk management across the firm.

Your Role
As a member of Risk Advisory within Enterprise Risk Management, the Senior Analyst coordinates and supports improving the effectiveness of the second line of defense and enhancing the execution of the controls by the first line of defense.
You Will Be Responsible For:

Assist in developing and implementing the Data, Technology, Privacy, and Cyber Security risk framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide risk management strategies.

Collaborate with business units to thoroughly understand emerging technologies and risks, supporting innovative projects to provide proactive risk oversight.

Conduct independent research to identify, evaluate, and document emerging risks and work with business units to implement mitigation strategies.

Providing guidance to business units on existing policies and standards, collaborating as needed to develop or enhance risk policies and procedures.

Proactively respond to information risk inquiries and requests from business units, demonstrating expertise in technology risk, policies, procedures, and data.

Ensure sufficient knowledge of Technology, Cyber Security, Data, and Privacy, fostering expertise in key areas to address evolving risk challenges.

Actively engage with business units (Technology, Cyber Security, Data, and Privacy) to provide tailored risk-related guidance, insights, and "risk advisory services."

Identify, recommend, and support risk-related continuous improvement initiatives, participating in planning for future enhancements and risk reduction strategies.

Leverage and champion the use of data, technology, and collaboration tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Information Risk team.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, regulatory developments, industry trends, and risk-related best practices to drive innovation and internal client benefits.

Manage the identification, escalation, reporting, and tracking of risk incidents in alignment with global policies to ensure comprehensive incident resolution and mitigation.
The Experience You Bring:
-
5+ years of risk and control experience, with at least 2+ years driving risk management across the lines of defense in a global banking/financial services environment or operational risk consulting, preferably with FSI experience.

Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally, with proven success in managing cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under shifting timelines while maintaining focus on high-impact deliverables.

Expertise in negotiating skillfully with stakeholders to find acceptable alternatives that align with multiple business objectives.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentation capabilities.
-
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve complex problems effectively.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset and ability to work well in a dynamic environment.

Familiarity with regulatory and corporate requirements such as SOX, SSAE18/ISAE3402, and other frameworks relevant to SOC1/SOC2 service organizations.

Experience working with automation tools, data visualization platforms, and collaboration technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams, Power BI).

Solid understanding of asset management industry operations and the interplay between Technology, Cyber Security, Data, and Privacy.

An undergraduate degree and MBA or master’s degree in a relevant subject matter preferred.

Certification in at least one of the following: CRISC, CISSP, CISA, or Technical Certificate in Cyber Security domain.
