Senior Analyst Global Procurement

Job Description

The Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Source2Pay team, and we have an ambition to build a World Class Sourcing and Analytics team within our Centre of Excellence for Global Procurement located in Gurugram Cyber City.

Senior Analyst will partner with Global Procurement stakeholders within GNFR (Goods not for resale) and GFR (Goods for Resale) and support Head of Global procurement, Directors of Global Procurement by collecting, entering, processing, and analyzing data to ensure appropriate analysis, monitoring and execution of Supplier Accounts in association with Procurement targets connected to business targets.

About the role

The position demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others. Applying information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet business needs.

Incorporating analytics to procurement category action plans and assisting procurement team on how to apply these in executing procurement processes and practices.

Creation of Procurement Dashboards through defined KPI’s on procurement category spend

Roles & Responsibilities

Analytics (Data & Insights)

• Clean and organize datasets for analysis and visualization using statistical methods; verify and ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data

• Identifying trends and patterns in data and using this information to drive business decisions

• Build highly impactful and intuitive dashboards that bring the underlying data to life through insights

• Generate ad-hoc analysis for leadership to deliver relevant, action-oriented, and innovative recommendations

Job Requirements

Education

• Professional degree in business administration, procurement, logistics, or similar relevant fields

Relevant Experience

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in a quantitative/applied analytics role

• Understanding of Negotiation tools like eAuction, Clean Sheet Costing, TCO model, Kraljic matrix etc.

Knowledge

• Functional Analytics (Procurement Retail Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Marketing Analytics, etc.)

• Business intelligence & reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

• Excellent presentation and MS Office skills.

• Experience in ERP and procurement tools (Coupa/Ariba/SAP/Ignite/Sievo) preferred.
