The Opportunity
For our Structural Heart Division SH we are currently looking for a Senior Analyst FP&A to join our international, finance team. This role will work out from our Zagreb location, Croatia, with regional responsibility for Central Eastern Europe and Türkiye.
The Senior Analyst FP&A will assist EME Finance Controller in preparation and monitoring of Plan, Budget & forecast, monthly analysis and reporting to regional and local management and follow-up on receivables with direct customers.
What You'll do:
- Assist EME Finance Controller in the preparation of Company Plans, budget & forecast, incorporating historic, trended and current business information.
- Analysis/interpretation of monthly results and liaison with functional groups to determine future exposures against current benchmark.
- Analyze and review monthly accounts and develop commentary in conjunction with the financial controller as to variations to benchmarks for all Product Divisions.
- Special projects/ ad-hoc reports as directed by EME Finance Controller
- Assist in the performance monitoring of the various product groups within the division.
- Monitor expenses (cost centers) and highlight potential exposures to avoid overspending.
- Prepare product profitability analysis and distribute financial reports and packages by gathering and analyzing information related to current performance.
- Assist in month end close as needed to ensure proper accounting at the functional and departmental level.
- Develop and utilize sound financial processes.
Required qualifications and background:
- Bachelor’s degree (major in Finance). MBA / CMA Desirable.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in accounting, budgeting and planning.
- Advanced level M.S. Excel / Access.
- Multi-national exposure (experience in corporate environment desirable).
- Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken).
- Good command of Turkish will be a strong asset.
- Ability to work form Zagreb office.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
