Key Functions:
- Manage statutory reporting requirements, dealing with external auditors, tax agents, and government agencies such as MIDA and inland revenue.
- Coordinate with various departments and perform analysis for all technical accounting problems in compliance with proposed and existing legislation.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations.
- Proven experience in general ledger (GL) accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
Good to have
- Prepare and monitor the quarterly expense, headcount, capital forecast and coordinate variance evaluation reports. Build financial modeling /scenario analysis for business integration.
- Month-end close reporting, tracking key performance indicators and management report preparation.
- Support business in capital project budgeting, business case, ROI and actual monitoring.
- Identify cost savings/productivity improvement initiatives and work with business partners to drive and monitor results.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business Studies or equivalent
- Result oriented and driver towards good financial performance and high performing team
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills. Business partnership-centric mindset
- Preferably with working experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Willing to take on new responsibilities and grow with the role.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience in ERP/SAP/Oracle will be an added advantage.
